In celebration of our 45th year, the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (“FBANC”) graciously invites you to join us at our annual Installation Gala at the Oakland Rotunda on Friday, June 13, 2025.

For over four decades, FBANC has cultivated a network of over 400 Filipino American attorneys and law students. Our members exhibit excellence in their roles as lawyers and advocates, all while volunteering valuable time towards community service, participating in premier professional development, and building bonds of mentorship with law students aspiring to be change-makers within the legal profession.

The theme for FBANC 45 is Pathways. Among its many meanings, one affirms that there is no one right path to become a lawyer, no one right way to be a lawyer, and no one right path for what comes after. Another interpretation, which seems more important than ever, is that there is more than one way to fight for justice - we each possess unique skills that we can use to advocate for our communities, and we are more powerful in using those skills in solidarity with one another. The Pathways theme celebrates that each of us have embarked on different journeys with varying destinations, yet every one of those paths has brought us here, to FBANC.

At the Gala, FBANC will award the 5th annual William R. Tamayo Community Grant to one of its community partners, and the FBANC Foundation will be awarding 10 student scholarships, altogether totaling almost $50,000. These financial feats are in no small part made possible by your continued allyship, aid, and support of FBANC.

We look forward to celebrating with you at the Gala this June!
