Comprised of over 400 attorneys and law students spread across Northern California, the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (“FBANC”) invites you to support its momentous 40th Annual Gala on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Saint Joseph's Arts Society in the heart of SOMA Pilipinas, San Francisco's Filipino Heritage District.

This year’s theme is Pamana or Legacy, as translated in Tagalog. The Gala will elevate and highlight FBANC’s  four-decade-long commitment to diversifying the legal profession and to serving the SF Bay Area Filipinx and Filipinx American community.  This event will also kick off the annual mid-year summit of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association,a national organization comprised of the nation’s Filipinx and Filipinx American attorneys and judges.

The Gala will bring together over 200 leaders for an inspiring evening that raises funds for FBANC’s programming, from its free legal clinics to its Foundation’s law student scholarships. At the dinner, the FBANC Foundation will be awarding $25,000 in scholarships to future lawyers, including the inaugural FBANC Foundation’s Honorable Eleanor Oducayen Nisperos Women's Committee Scholarship, which commemorates the first Filipina-American lawyer in California and the inaugural FBANC/BALIF Joint Scholarship, awarded to a law student who has a demonstrated commitment to the Filipinx American and LGBT communities.

FBANC is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization. 268 Bush St., #2928, San Francisco, CA 94104
