The Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (“FBANC”) is an organization of attorneys, judges, and law students dedicated to serving the Filipino community. Through the volunteer work of its members, FBANC offers various service programs, including regular, free legal clinics, professional development programs for attorneys, and mentorship for law students and young attorneys. The organization also provides a voice for and advocates on behalf of Filipino interests in various forums.

  • Tickets for law students and recent law school graduates.
  • Tickets for any attendee who is not an FBANC member.
  • Tickets for public sector / public interest attorneys
  • Reciprocal seat swap with sibling bar association.

Join FBANC in Oakland this June 7 for its Annual Dinner.  The theme for this year's dinner is "Committed to Community," and it will focus on FBANC's work in Northern California, including with its law students and legal clinics.  

In addition to honoring FBANC Foundation scholarship recipients, the dinner will be awarding its Jose Rizal Award this year to EEOC District Director Bill Tamayo and its Trailblazer Award to Bayanihan Community Center Executive Director Bernadette Sy. FBANC is also honored to have The Hon. Benjamin T. Reyes, II as its keynote speaker that evening.
